17, 34, 51, 68, 85, WHAT COMES NEXT !00 One hundred... I am eleven years old a very very young age to be. Can you imagine me as 85 or 100 years old? This is such a weird question but I just had to ask. I definitely can not think of me as 85 or 100 years old... I don't know why but sometimes when I think of the future I get scared and happy. Has anyone lived before the year 2000 and after the year 1999? When I sometimes think of the year 2000 I just scared immediately because suddenly the 190s finish and then the year 2000s start. Good thing I didn't live back in the 190s to experience the sudden chagement of the year... Today our activity was to learn about Cicadas... Here is an interesting fact about Cicadas... Did you know that Cicadas can live up to seventeen years? Our create part was to create a timeline of what we would be doing when we are 17, 34, 51, 68, 85. Some of the things I haven't really included is my future job. So I should change that for next time. It was really hard to think of a future job. What do you think my future job should be? Did you enjoy seeing my timeline? Tell me in the comments...
Kia ora Sreelakshmi,
ReplyDeleteI am working as a Manaiakalani Outreach facilitator in schools.
I like that you are thinking about others throughout your life. I think when you are wondering about a job you need to think about what interests you. Of course, you don't have to just have one job!

I really appreciate this so much...I'm glad that you like my blog post. Well what really interests me in a job is being someone like a CEO...So maybe my future job should be a CEO :) :) :)...

It is me Quein again, a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. It is fantastic to see that you have given some thought to your future. I really like that you plan on going to university because getting a university diploma or a degree really increases the chances of you earning more money to support your family and one day buy a house. I studied for seven years at the university. It was also a lot of fun and you can get the chance to meet amazing people and friends. I can't say what job you should do although I will say that you should study and do a job that you find interesting and fun to do. The world is also changing very quickly and it is becoming more common for people to do more than one job. It is also very awesome to see that family is an important value and encompasses your life goals. I love supporting and spending time with my family and friends.
Would you like to travel anywhere one day as well? I enjoyed travelling to Scotland and eating haggis and seeing the mighty highlands.
Keep up the Super work and I hope to see more of your posts during the Summer Learning Journey!!
