My Learning Accomplishments In 2021!!!

Last week in room two we have been learning in cybersmart how to make our learning accomplishments!!! My learning accomplishments are art, writing and physical education. In art we have been learning how to blend colour with pastels, Pencils and Dye colours and I think that I have improved and made progress in. In writing I have made progress and improved in using powerful language and describing in my writing. In physical education I have made progress and improved in learning the rules of football. How to code a sprite

 Today we were learning about Matariki so we used scratch and we made characters that will find the stars one by one. My character was tocan it was a bird check out my scratch project out. Learning scratch for the first time was scary but I enjoyed coding my character tocan. I found it hard to find the correct buttons so I can code my character and make it move the right way. My background was a night sky with stars. My bird can move and speak. I changed the colour of my tocan and made the body purple. click the green flag at the top and my character will speak. I hope you like it.

Did you know that fire trucks didn't have doors back in the day. Crazy right...And you have to have long legs to ride it. I honestly didn't know this. But if you want to find way more interesting olden day images go onto my blog post and find out. The hard part was thinking what people used olden days. This is what I learned in cybersmart. I also learned that you are not allowed to steal images off the internet because if it's yours can use it but if not you can't  use it without permission. This is what I learned I hope you like it.

 Today I was learning what makes a great blog before in my writing I did not do much writing 

Then I  learnt that writing is simple it's just like writing in a book after then I added a little

More detail into my writing to make it more like people want to read it and more enjoy it

My after writing is a little better I  think I am learning how to use more Paragraphs in my writing often.

Today I was learning about how to take care of our chromebooks taking care of chromebook is very

Important we learnt to not put things on our chromebooks because our chromebooks could break I just 

learnt that even when a little rubber is there it could break and the new one I learnt is never ever put 

food or drinks by the side It could spill and it will go all over then the chromebook could break

My new learning was that taking care of your chromebook could be easy but make sure nothing gets in

your chromebook because you will never ever get to see it one more time so make nothing gets into your

chromebook I enjoyed learning about this because it is very Important  learning about this because what I 

never learnt about this I love cybersmart  I found it challenging to understand this

Hi my name is Sreelakshmi and I live in New Zealand. I am Year 5 at St Mary’s in Gisborne. I live with my mum and dad. My little sister lives in India. I always love her.

I am really good at writing. I learn piano at St Mary's school. I enjoy reading at home and at the library and at school. My favourite type of books are science books.
