How to code a sprite

 Today we were learning about Matariki so we used scratch and we made characters that will find the stars one by one. My character was tocan it was a bird check out my scratch project out. Learning scratch for the first time was scary but I enjoyed coding my character tocan. I found it hard to find the correct buttons so I can code my character and make it move the right way. My background was a night sky with stars. My bird can move and speak. I changed the colour of my tocan and made the body purple. click the green flag at the top and my character will speak. I hope you like it.

My amazing Matariki quiz...

Last week we were learning about Matariki and we had to make a quiz. My cat helped me by being in the photo finally when his photo was done he fell asleep. And theres a photo of him sleeping at the end. I loved doing this with my cat the hard part was when I had to put all the links in the right place. Samoan language week

 

Last week was samoan language week. This artwork this is the Frigate bird which stands for guidance it always returns home. I had fun finding facts about the Frigate bird. The part I found hard was to draw the Frigate bird. My digital learning objects I can find facts and draw. 

Designing home learning books...

 On Thursday, our class were designing home learning books. This is my drawing of the Sacred heart of Jesus. Christ's actual heart represents his love for all humanity. Jesus's heart is viewed as a symbol of God's boundless and passionate love for mankind. Therefore, we should live together in love and harmony as our lord sacrificed his life for us. 

 

Do you know what a covenant is?

This week we were learning about what a covenant is. For example we learnt that a covenant is more a sacred deal with God and an agreement is not sacred. I did this with my group Hannah, Zoe and me. I enjoyed doing this and learning what a covenant really is. The part I found really hard was finding facts about what a covenant is. My digital learning objects shows I can change fonts and colours. What happens when oil and water are mixed together?

This week we were finding out what happens when water and oil are mixed together. This blog will give you really amazing facts. The people in my group was Zara, Charlotte and me. The teacher who was teaching us was Koka Kalo she is a student teacher. We had to use two plastic containers with lids, coloured water, beaker, papper, towel, feather, jugs, observation, ipad sheet and a pencil.
